Iowa Writes

Frozen Falls

Winter waterfalls
look like giant jewels
hanging from the sky.
Glittering rainbows
bouncing around
like fireflies.
The sudden sound of ice cracking,
diamond dynamite exploding
in the fearful, frozen ice.

About Iowa Writes
