The Daily Palette Vintage

ANN ZERKEL
Symmetry

My childhood body was perfect:
It could fit into corners
all rolled up or fly
recklessly from the seat of a swing.

My woman's body is wily. It sits chewing
my resolute neglect, then flings
it out, all over my upholstery.
