The Daily Palette Vintage

There was a poem floating around in my head last night.
The numbers 2 and 3 were heavily involved, and there were      parentheses (of course).
I thought I'd better get out of bed and write it down, or I'd be ruing      the day tomorrow,
which, in fact, I am doing today.
I don't remember anything else about the topic or the form,
and so it remains one of the better poems I've ever (not) written.

The Daily Palette Vintage

The Daily Palette is pleased to introduce its new Project Coordinator, Jennifer Erixon.

During the month of February we will feature selected artists and works from the Palette's archive.

Lisa Roberts's poem was selected for the 2011 Poetry in Public project, sponsored by the Iowa City Public Art Program. Now in its ninth year, Poetry in Public displays poems by local writers of all ages in Iowa City buses, downtown kiosks, and select public buildings from April (National Poetry Month) through the fall.
