In his own words:

My tenure as a painter is a short one. I started painting purely out of curiosity, without any prior training or experience other than some success as a photographer. I paint intuitively, inspired by the world around me, and events that are impacting my life at the moment. My primary interest is color. My paintings feature many layers of background color applied using a variety of techniques to give each piece mood, energy and a sense of movement. Painting has allowed me to discover a whimsical and child-like joy of discovery that enriches my everyday life.
