Carroll Michalek completed a BA in art history and studio art at Lake Forest College in Illinois, and now makes her home in Keosauqua, Iowa. I am an Iowa artist who has fun creating colorful oil paintings of my garden's fruit, veggies and flowers, Midwestern and French landscapes as well as the occasional airplane.
