The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art--Ryan Bentzinger: nAMUH

This week the Daily Palette is celebrating Ryan Bentzinger: nAMUH, an exhibition at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art (CRMA). This show is on view through January 17, 2016.

nAMUH is a science fiction story told through dialogue between monsters and robots and captivating watercolor illustrations. It will be published in book form in winter 2015. Ryan Bentzinger: nAMUH is an exhibition of more than 70 illustrations from the prologue and first chapter of the book.

From the CRMA website: "While each work represents a scene in the story, each also serves as an accomplished, engaging watercolor painting, where the artist pushes the medium to its limits. His gruesome-yet-endearing characters live in a post-apocalyptic world and the viewer journeys with them on their adventures in this watercolor world."
