THOMAS C. JACKSON Stella of Chief Carpenter Amunnakhte 2, pastel, 34.5" x 25.5", 2003
Born in Rock Island, Illinois in 1950, Thomas Jackson holds a B.A. from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois and an M.F.A. from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He received these degrees in 1972 and 1974 respectively. After earning his M.F.A, Thomas went on to become an Assistant Professor of Art at Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
