"Images of idealized nature are used in many ways. Dairy products are commonly packaged with an illustration of a farm and framed images of cottages in a forest can be found anywhere.  These cultural manifestations of a longing to reconnect with a less controlled environment reflect a common agrarian past.  My work questions the veracity of our desire to re-engage with an unmediated nature."
