That I use to wash my hands
Tan is the soft skin
Of a cheetah

This week the Daily Palette is celebrating the writing of Iowa-connected youth.

Sasha Magdalena Nierenberg is a music composer, visual artist, poet, fashionista, and renowned debunker of the notion that little sisters are underdogs.  She lives in Sharon, Massachusetts and every year at the Iowa State Fair can find the stand for Barksdale's hot chocolate chip cookies like it's nobody's business.
