Wendi Wendt works as both a photographer and a painter.

The artist tells us about her career and her love of art:

"Where there is art, there is an expression of love. It moves me like nothing else quite can. This love for all forms of art started when I was a little girl and I often enrolled in Saturday morning classes. I remember feeling that I couldn't wait to create! Thirty years later and I still feel that way!

I've been fortunate to work in fields that demand hands on creativity. For many years I worked as a visual display artist and later as the owner of a home based folk art business. In 2003, I was given an opportunity to host an Eastern Iowa decorating show called 'The Great Exchange.' I continue to dabble in art, (in as many forms as I can) to this day."
