In the artist's own words:

"Making art is my life. I love painting, simply love it. I love the instant gratification of people's understanding of the subject at hand. My work is the byproduct of my experiences, which can be many things. It jumps from one specific issue in my lifetime to the next, which communicates historically my experiences whether it is culture, city life, cafes, or the women in my life.  I try not to play so much with narratives or symbolism and let the viewer develop a relationship with my paintings. Right now, I am enjoying my particular way of painting and I am refining my technique as I go. My love for the city like the public cafes, busses and trains, to the passion of falling in love, to the love of impressionistic painting are all presented in my work. I choose oil and acrylic painting language over others because the impression of illusion and documentation fascinates me."
