ALEXANDRA BARAO

Alexandra Barao was born in 1987 in Virginia and currently lives and works in San Francisco. She received her BFA in Sculpture and Extended Media from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. This past fall, she attended the Grin City Collective artist residency in Grinnell, Iowa. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally at Gallery 5 (Richmond, VA), Little Berlin (Philadelphia, PA),  Galería NoMinimo and Espacio Vacio (Guayaquil, Ecuador), and Kunsthaus Dresden (Germany). She is currently working on putting together a series of photo books.
