For more than twenty years, I have been working from the human figure and abstractions from the figure.  Whether on paper or in video, I look to the physical presence in the pose of my subject, rather than psychology or "soulfulness".  I look for the visually interesting aspects of what I see and let it guide me, whether I am using crayon, paint or video images.
