Meghan Treasure was born in Iowa and will graduate from the University of Iowa with a BFA in Ceramics, a BA in Art History and a Minor in French in May of 2011.

Meghan states, "My work is about the tranquility that comes when a repetitious task is at hand. The motion of drawing circles, a shape that is never ending, brings a peace to my mind."
