Raised in the rolling hills of Grant Wood County, Eastern Iowa, Diane attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and acquired her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) &  then further her studies at the Maharishi University of Management (MUM).
