Judy Bales has exhibited her fiber and mixed media artworks nationally for over 20 years and her work has been featured in numerous national art publications.  She is an experienced educator and lectures frequently about her work.  In 2000 Ms. Bales successfully transitioned into public art and has completed four major projects since that time.  While developing new skills for large scale public art works, in particular bridge enhancements, she maintains an evolving body of studio work.  She recently mounted a solo exhibition at Mills Gallery at Central College, Pella, Iowa, and was one of four national artists selected to create sculpture for a temporary outdoor sculpture exhibition at Rotary Park in Blue Springs, Missouri.
