Iowa Writes

Wintry World

Far, far away...Lies the barren land of night
Wherein the frost never melts.
An icy pallor scours the wind
And shades the emotionless black sky.
Trees locked their gazes on me, unblinking
Dendroid spirits of the ether.
Desolate: the lonely moonlight realm.
