Rob Millard-Mendez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art at the University of Southern Indiana, where he teaches 3-D Design and Woodworking.  He received an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.  Rob's work has been exhibited in over 400 exhibitions in museums and galleries in all 50 states (as well as internationally), including 20 solo exhibitions.  He has received over 60 awards for his art and teaching, and his sculptures are in over 60 private and public collections.  Rob was a Spring 2015 Resident at the Grin City Collective in Grinnell, Iowa.

Rob is a maker of sculptural objects.  His work often employs high craft but it is also process-oriented and conceptual.  He works in many different media at different scales.  He continues to hone his skills working under the tutelage of some of the world's premiere fine artists and craftspeople.
