Iowa Writes

WILL DE BLOIS
One Dwarfed by Another

Cars zooming by, seeing those two
one standing tall and straight
the other short and bent
the passengers may be thinking "what an odd looking couple
one old and ugly, another so beautiful"
but who's to say what the trees themselves think?
