SCOTT ALAN WRIGHT
Wonderment 200, 36" x 48"
Of his work, Wright writes, "Painting for me provides an opportunity to explore the infinite vistas of my own imagination and the chance to create something that is uniquely my own vision. Each painting is like a journal entry documenting my adventures as I travel along my own creative path. The paintings are titled 'Wonderment' and then given a number as they are part of an ongoing series of work that seeks to explore and express the wonder of the natural phenomena that is all around us. In a mechanical sense, these paintings are composed of imagery that lend themselves to interpretation based on glimpses, or fragments of nature; like clouds, sunsets, plant life, and biomorphic life forms. The paintings can be seen as expressions of an organic surrealistic nature."
